Free LinkedIn ad audit for B2B teams
Paste your website. AdRoast pulls your live LinkedIn and Google ads, works out your ideal buyer from your site, scores every ad 0 to 10 against that buyer, and follows each click to the landing page. No Campaign Manager access. The first audit is free.
About two minutes. No card. Works on a competitor's website too.
What 579 B2B ad accounts look like
Counted on 30 October 2026 from the public AdRoast boards that have scored ads. Scores measure message fit, not spend or results.
What the audit checks
| Check | The question |
|---|---|
| Buyer fit | Would the one person who signs the contract feel this was written for them? |
| Problem and outcome | Does it name a problem they already have and what changes after? |
| Proof | Is there a number, a customer, or a fact that makes the claim believable? |
| Reason to click | Why now, and what do they get on the other side? |
| Landing page match | Does the first screen repeat the promise the ad just made? |
How it works
Paste a website. Yours or a competitor's. There is nothing to connect, because the ads come from the public ad libraries.
AdRoast finds the buyer. It reads the site and writes down who the company sells to. Every score is measured against that buyer, not against generic best practice.
Every live ad gets a score. You get a board of real creatives, ranked 0 to 10, with the weakest ones easy to spot.
You get the fix. Open an ad for the full report: what breaks, whether the landing page holds up, and the rewrite. A free account opens your first report, no card.
What low-scoring ads have in common
1,012 of the scored ads came in at 5 or below. The most common complaint in their scoring notes, in roughly 3 of every 10, is generic language: a headline any company in the category could run. The other patterns repeat too, and they often stack in the same ad. These are real notes from the boards.
It describes the category, not the difference."Category-label headline with a generic benefit line, no differentiator or proof for the ICP buyer."
It reaches the right buyer and promises nothing."Speaks to the right buyer but offers no outcome beyond 'consistency', and no proof."
The claim has nothing behind it."Named customer and CIO angle are credible, but no outcome number makes the story too thin to compel a click."
It repeats the tagline instead of the pain."Headline mirrors the brand tagline with no buyer pain or outcome, and 'agentic ai' adds jargon without proof."
It never says why to click today."Positioning is clear but the message stays at category level with no outcome, proof, or reason to click now."
What this audit does not do
It does not read Campaign Manager, so it has no spend, CTR, or CPL, and it cannot tell you which ad made money. It judges the message, not the bidding. It also needs live ads in the public libraries: a company that is not running any has nothing to score. If you need account and pipeline numbers, the best LinkedIn ad audit tools guide lists what to pair it with. If you want to do this by hand first, here is the 5-step manual audit.

Questions
Is it really free? The first audit is free and needs no card. After that, Starter is $29 a month for one company and 25 roasts, and Pro is $79 a month for up to five companies and 100 roasts.
Do I need to connect Campaign Manager? No. AdRoast reads the public ad libraries, so there is nothing to connect and no account access to grant.
What is a good score? Across 5,489 scored ads, the average company sits at about 6.6 out of 10. About 1 in 4 ads scores 8 or higher, and about 1 in 5 scores 5 or lower.
Can I audit a competitor? Yes. The ads are public, so the audit works the same on any company's website.
Who built this? Marina Kogan, who works on positioning for B2B paid media. It is not affiliated with adroast.ai, an unrelated tool that generates Meta ads.
